Final day of skiing

A lunchtime refuelling session before getting back out on the slopes. Tired but happy!

Evening entertainment

Newcastle United put in a barn storming performance to progress in the Europa league. Oddly, the boys wanted to watch another game.

Another great day on the slopes

Fantastic weather for the fourth day in a row!

There will be a very proud parent looking at this photo.... I've no idea who though.

Food

Chicken curry went down well last night, and the food has been great all holiday. Despite this some boys still find space to take in some French cuisine...

The famous Patchett pool competition

Even in Dr P's absence, the pool competition is a big draw for participants and spectators alike. It must be said, the quality was spectacularly low this year (Adam Zaidi's "trick shots" had to be seen to be believed), but from the masses some favourites emerged. Kuba 'The People's Champion' Kotas was a real crowd pleaser, but lost out to Michael 'The Showman' McGovern in a close semifinal. Adit Bassi showed some finesse but lacked the required killer instinct to progress. The final of McGovern versus Puddifer was tense and featured a partisan year 8 crowd, but Cameron managed to stay cool and take the prize. Dr Patchett would be proud...

Out on the slopes

Skiing can be very serious stuff.

PJC was pleased to note that the boys paid as little attention to the ski instructors as they did to his impromptu physics lessons.
